Staff & Faculty



Miss Brittaney is our Lead Infant Teacher and also our Mentor Teacher so you could see her supporting teachers in all of our classrooms. Brittaney has lived in Angola most all of her life. She met her husband in High School and they share two children. Brittaney began her work with young children 10 years ago. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education with a K-8 focus. She is passionate about early childhood education and continues her professional development in this area. "I love watching children learn new things. I see the importance of starting their lives with a solid foundation of independence and self-worth." Outside of work, Brittaney loves spending time with her family. They enjoy watching movies, going to the park or zoo, and cooking together.



Miss Alicen is our newest Toddler Lead Teacher.  She grew up in Auburn and still resides there. She has two children of her own, Georgia and Christopher, who attend The Vine. They love their new friends! She studied Art Therapy for two years at Indiana Wesleyan, majoring in both Fine Art and Psychology. She enjoys making anything, from painting and drawing to sewing and crafts. She has worked in early care and education for two years. Her favorite thing about working with young children is getting to watch them learn, develop, and grow!



Miss Britt is one of our Toddler Associate Teachers. She has worked in early care and education for over ten years in a variety of ways including babysitting, working in the school system, and working in childcare. She is passionate about early childhood education and plans to continue her own education in early childhood. She "enjoys watching children grow and become their own person and watching them learn something new each day." Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and she enjoys the outdoors. 



Miss Demi is the Lead Teacher in one of our Toddler classroom. She has worked in childcare for six years. She holds her CDA (Child Development Associate credential) for infants/toddlers. She lives in Hamilton with her husband, Trevor, and 3-year-old daughter, Mckenna. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to the lake in the summer. Her favorite part of working with young children is watching them learn and grow!



Miss Victoria who everyone calls Miss Torre, is an Associate Teacher in the Toddler room. She has been married to her husband, David, for almost 17 years and they have a 15-year-old daughter, Isabella. She has 23 years of experience in business and retail but excitedly discovered early childhood education about a year ago. She enjoys it so much that she plans to pursue her CDA in the near future. Outside of work she enjoys crafting, reading, supporting her daughter in 4H, and spending time with family. Her favorite part about working with children is “watching the excitement they have when discovering new things.” 


Miss Maddi is an Associate Teacher in the Toddler room. She recently relocated to Butler from Ohio where she lived her entire life. She has worked with children for over 12 years helping her mother with her family childcare home.  She attended a vocational school for early childhood her last two years of high school. She “loves children’s innocence and purity, and how they go about life and are always so positive.” Outside of working, she enjoys anything beauty related like hair and makeup, playing with her dog, Bailey, and hanging out with her husband. 



Miss Pam is our opening staff person. She assists in the Infant room in the morning and works wherever she is needed throughout the week. Most days, she delivers lunch to the classrooms which makes her a favorite staff to the children. She recently took on the additional duties of our evening cleaning staff as well. Pam is the definition of flexible! She has been active with children for many years. She has four grown children and nine grandchildren. She taught preschool for 25 years and was also a music teacher for 2–5-year-olds. “She loves the twinkle in children’s sweet little eyes when they do things, especially when they learn something new.” Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends, lake time, bowling, and ballroom dancing with her husband, Gregg.
